Oswego Children's Theater History

On Thursday March 28, 2002 Flo Ross (Thomas), Wayne, Kelly, and Lyndsie Mosher formed a limited partnership that laid the legal groundwork for the foundation of a new children’s theater production company to be known as the Oswego Children’s Theater.  The stated purpose of this organization is to provide the youth of the Oswego community with the opportunity to participate in a live theater production.  Over the past few year’s community members, parents, and children have approached us to form a group of this type.  We feel this organization is needed to provide the young people of this community with opportunities to expand their creative horizons by means of dramatic expression.  Theater offers the perfect venue for many levels of creativity, both on and off stage.  The teamwork required to produce a successful production demonstrates that every one involved is of equal importance.  It is truly said, “There are no small parts, only small actors”.  Our mission is not just to produce shows, but also to instill self-confidence in the youth of the Oswego community.
